No Nose Saddles

Have you ever noticed how once you become aware of something you start seeing examples of it?  Anything saddle related peeks my interest, I recently had a conversation with a friend who like me is above average in height and weight and he had suffered with the numbness and groin issues that a lot of cyclists complain of.

I believe that making sure your bike is fitted correctly in the first place helps a lot but choice of saddle is the most critical (in my case).  I tried a lot of saddles and in the end the one that saved my sausage was the Brooks B17 Imperial below:

It's a great saddle but even this is to much for some very sensitive people, my friend has bought a "no nose" saddle and swears by it.  As soon as I get the chance I am going to try one out, so if you are suffering similar issues do a search on it, I can't recommend a particular model but a quick search will bring up those available and after reading the marketing blurb and some comments by other cyclists you may be convinced.

Since finding out about it, I have come across two friends who are suffering worse than I ever did both claim they are seeing the doctor because their golf balls swell up when cycling (ouch)!!

I like the look of the  Rose Bikes SQlab 600 active saddle

Let me know if you have one!
